About Glia

Glia Holdings builds software for problems that generic tools handle badly.

Story

Why we build

We started with a question: why do small, specific audiences get served by large, general software that was never designed for them? A hospitality hiring manager in Hong Kong should not have to use the same job board as an accounting firm. A person creating a medical advance directive should not have to use a PDF editor. A developer managing projects across Obsidian and Supabase should not have to choose between a fragile plugin stack and an enterprise platform built for someone else's workflow.

Glia is a Hong Kong-incorporated technology company with a development office in Thailand and team members across multiple countries. We build digital products across healthcare, hospitality recruitment, web quality, productivity, tourism, and SEO. Eight products, four live, one in private beta, three in active development. A shared design system and consistent engineering standards run through all of them.

We are small enough to ship fast and opinionated enough to ship well. Each product in the portfolio exists because we identified a specific problem, validated that the existing solutions were inadequate, and believed we could build something measurably better.

Operating model

How we work

Glia operates as a distributed team across multiple time zones. We work asynchronously by default: written briefs, structured handoffs, and documented decisions. This is not a compromise; it is how we stay fast without staying up late.

A shared design system runs through every product in the portfolio. The same tokens, the same type scale, the same component patterns. When you move between Glia Quest and Glia Guru, the interfaces feel like they were built by the same team, because they were.

We iterate in short cycles, ship frequently, and treat user feedback as the primary input to product decisions. Nothing about how we work is accidental.
